In the course of BAM (Business Activity Monitoring), the analysis of process execution get really important. Therefore one tries to move from traditional Business Intelligence application to more process-oriented Business Process Intelligence applications. This blog should offer a collection of User Stories, general requirements and design ideas for a process data warehouse.

Related Work - Schiefer et al.
Schiefer et al. show a data source focused view on audit trails data and its context [14]. Although they stress the need for a process information factory and describe real-time and context requirements of BAM, they do not go deeper into the storage or propagation mechanism. Instead they dive as deep into data extraction as source code examples.
